Transcendental Meditation

I’ve been trying to learn to meditate for a long time now. I still am not sure if I’m connecting properly as I usually end up falling asleep. Or sometimes my wife says I fell asleep but I never felt like that – I felt as if I was still awake the entire time. That said, I’m always open and aware to ways to help me make slow but steady progress.  

This short video is not going to say a few steps but it is something to listen to and watch.

Killing Your Worry

This past Sunday saw the topic of Worry and Anxiety at Church. Trying to unlearn the habits that build great anxiety within us is tough.  There really is a journey you must take to killing your worry.  Zenwomb is a place that we try and improve upon our life and evolve into a space free from worry and anxiety.  In the 5 tips to turning your worry on it’s head, there is one that involves a “boredom technique.”  We’re not perfect and no one is immune to worry; however, there are exercises and steps to build up your mind and body to resist worry.  I battle anxiety and depression issues every single day.  These tips are great.

Producing the Fastest Fat-Loss

These are foods that Tim Ferriss has specified as the foods that helped achieve the fastest fat-loss:

Proteins
  • Egg whites with 1-2 whole eggs for flavor
  • Chicken Breast or Thigh
  • Beef (preferably grass-fed)
  • Fish

What is Policosanol

Policosanol:
Policosanol is derived from sugar cane. It can lower “bad” LDL
cholesterol and raise protective HDL cholesterol. It has also been shown
to inhibit clot formation and lower a substance that contributes to the
constriction of blood vessels.

Everywhere I’ve been 2 in London, Ontario has been clueless.  I might call around to a few more places but I’ve pretty much decided to try and order it online sometime.

Zen Breakfast

Breakfast and Lunch

I’m getting my diet in balance. I’m not trying to jump into everything right away.  I can’t go hardcore into new diet, working out at 6am and more.  It’s tough.

Diet plays a massive roll in our bodies health. In 2004, I worked out consistently and saw great results and weight loss. I ate better too.  I didn’t eat amazing though. The massive differences happened when I ate better.  When I decided to eat loads of broccoli, spinach and peppers.
I’m not looking at my diet now in sense of restrictions but looking at it as a simplified sense.  I don’t have to waste mental energy on what to make for dinner tonight.
Anyways, the diet is simplified. I wanted to just not what I had for breakfast and Lunch today.  It’s simplified.
Breakfast
  • 2 Eggs
  • Egg Whites
  • Spinach
  • 1.2 Cups of Lentils
  • Coffee
  • Water

Lunch

  • Chicken Breast
  • Lentils
  • Spinach

Welcome to Simplicity and Health

My name is Scott Webb and I’m a whole number of things.  My business is named Embryo and I look at turning small ideas into great ideas. Many of idea of focus right now have to do with Photography and being a Photographer in London Ontario.

Part of my vision with Embryo is to build these different ideas.  That’s where Zenwomb comes into play now.  Zenwomb is a look at simplicity and health in my life as I work at building an online empire.

I have weight to lose.  I’m on depression medication that isn’t very weight friendly at all. As if anyone needs more issues with weight gain.   I hope to turn this into a place where I experiment with getting healthy in more ways that just weight loss.
